Zync Z-909 Plus – Tablet under Rs 4,000

Zync Z-909 is a new entrant into the low cost, budget friendly tablet market segment. This tablet running Android 2.3 Gingerbread is priced just under Rs 4,000 and is available for purchase from snapdeal. The listed price on snapdeal is Rs 3,699. This price tag will make it attractive to a large section of people including students.
It also comes with Free 2-level Screen Protector, Free Tablet Carry Pouch and Earphones and Free BigFlix movie rental subscription for one month (Gift coupon inside the box) at snapdeal.
It is having a good 1 GHZ processor that should provide some steam to games and multitasking. It has got 4 GB of internal storage which is expandable up-to 32 GB and the screen has got a resolution of 800 x 480p which is not bad.

It should have been bundled with Android 4.0 Ice cream sandwich, but it comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread which is a disappointment. I feel it’s RAM of 256 MB is a bit less and should have been 512 MB. May be too much to ask at such a low price. You should also note that Z-909 doesn’t have an HDMI port. And of course no GPS.
