Sony or Samsung : Who will deliver the first Flexible OLED commercial Display

It was Sony who demonstrated the first OLED screens that can bend. But most likely, it will be Samsung who will deliver the first commercial OLED display device.
Vice chairman of Samsung Kwon Oh-hyun told Korea Times  that they have received huge orders for OLED displays from many electronics makers.  It is no secret that Apple is in touch with Samsung to get enough flexible OLED displays to be used in certain Apple devices. Is Apple going to come up with an OLED display for iPad or even iPhone.  A  flexible iPad or iPhone is a real possibility, but we think it may take some where around 2015 for that to become a reality.  Before that Apple may put flexible OLED  in devices such as a table top display sheet which can project information from an iPhone or iPad.

Even though , Sony was the first company to show OLED display, they are yet to come up with a good plan for mass production. Samsung looks all set to produce a million displays by year-end.  In a couple of years , we will see interesting devices using flexible OLED  screens.
