Samsung mobile in 10000 to 20000 Rs

Today, Samsung is one of the best mobile phone manufacturers in the world. Samsung offers a variety of Smart phones in various price ranges. 10,000- 20,000 Rs is an affordable price range where one can buy a good Smart Phone with excellent features.

Of course, you can buy  more advanced phones like a Samsung S III or Samsung galaxy beam if you are willing to pay more than 20,000 Rs.For instance, 35,000 Rs for a Galaxy Beam or around 45,000 for S III. There is no harm in going for a higher price range if you need very advanced features like a projector as in  Samsung galaxy beam.

We think, Rs 10,000-20,000 is a decent price range for which you get some of  the best affordable smart phones. Phones coming in this range from Samsung  are

  • Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus
  •  Samsung Wave 3
  •  Samsung Omnia W
  •  Samsung Galaxy Ace
  • Samsung Galaxy S  ( Not included in comparison as it is now an Old Model)

Analysis

Hardware

Samsung Wave 3 is the best choice in this area. It has the biggest screen (4″),  400×800 (WVGA ) Resolution and a 16 M Super AMOLED Display.

Operating System

Android Rules the Operating system space.

Wave 3 is having Bada 2.0 as its  Operating System. Bada is yet to gain popularity compared to the  Android Operating System that powers Galaxy Ace and Galaxy Ace plus.

The vast choice of free and cool applications, offered by the Android market place, is a definite advantage for Galaxy Ace and Ace plus. Bada needs a lot to do, to catch up with Android. So we vote for an Android Operating System.

Recommendations

If you are not particular about Android OS, Wave 3 is an excellent choice for this price range.  It is simply loaded with more features and has a superior display. Due to its Super AMOLED display and high-resolution, Wave 3 plays movies and videos better in vivid colors.

Wave 3 is a good choice if you are going to use the phone mostly for watching videos and playing games. It has the best hardware and display.

If you also want to enjoy the apps from the android market place and other android app repositories as well, the choice narrows to Galaxy Ace or Ace plus. Galaxy Ace plus is superior to Galaxy Ace in terms of features and performance. For instance, it is faster than Ace thanks to the 1GHZ processor.

Samsung Galaxy Ace plus is a good choice if you are looking for an Android phone with decent features.

Galaxy Ace Plus is a decent phone providing almost all the features we look for in a Smart Phone. Its only drawback compared to Wave 3,  is its display. Galaxy Ace Plus has a screen resolution of 480 x 320 and technology used is  TFT LCD . But this resolution is not bad. This is a pretty decent resolution for watching movies and  playing games. Of course it is a bit inferior to Wave 3 in this aspect.

Overall it is a good buy under 20,000 Rs. Would have recommended Wave 3 due to its superior display technology and better resolution, if  it was loaded with Android instead of Bada.

Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus is a fast smart phone with 3.65-inch TFT display and is powered by the 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 Processor. It runs on Android 2.3.6 (Gingerbread OS) and supports the latest TouchWiz 4.0.  It has a 5MP camera with LED Flash. It comes with 3 GB internal memory and supports expandable storage upto 32 GB. I wish it had  front facing camera !
