Few pieces of HTC OneX is reported to be having an issue in connecting or staying connected to a WiFi connection. Few users have reported this issue in various forums and many has raised the issue with HTC support. Reply from HTC , suggests that this is due to a hardware issue and they have offered a fix to the problem. You can read more about this issue at Android Central.
I don’t think this issue is widespread. The piece I tested doesn’t have this issue, so i guess this problem is there only in certain limited number of pieces and HTC has taken steps to rectify this.

How does it Compare with Samsung Galaxy S3
I find HTC OneX to be very similar to Samsung Galaxy S3. I didn’t find much difference between these two phones. In daylight tests the screen of the HTC One X was the clearest. Also the when you see and hold a OneX, it really feels like holding a premium high quality product. Galaxy S3 is having a plastic look and feel, that i don’t like much.
Definitely various high end bench mark tests shows that S3 is slightly ahead of HTC One X in terms of performance, but the is difference is not much or significant in my opinion. Both are good phones and comparable. In terms of usability, Galaxy S3 is far superior, there is no doubt about that.
HTC OneX was not available in USA due to customs restriction. Seems this ban is lifted. “The International Trade Commission has rejected Apple’s attempt to impose an emergency ban on US imports of the HTC One X, after a ferocious patent dispute between the companies. Hence HTC OneX should be available in USA soon.” – Reports CNET UK. HTC OneX is a nice, smart, high performing smart-phone. It is a good buy.
