How to enrich old photos / images for free – Splashup

An old photo / image will lose its color, brightness and overall quality over time. The only way to keep your photos look good always is to digitize it and store in your computer. But many old photos / images might have already lost its quality and recovering them is costly. But there is a free tool available to enrich the photos / images. It is the popular, free, online image editor Splashup. You can use Splashup to enrich old photos / images.
Splashup is free and you just need an internet connection to use it. I have written a tutorial on Splashup and i recommend that to you. It will give you all the basics you need to use Splashup.
Steps to enrich old photos / images
- Open the Splashup online image editor
- Open the image you want to enrich using File – > Open Image
- Once the image gets loaded, apply the enrich filter using Filters -> Enrich

You can see how the image has come lively after doing the enrichment. Splashup’s enrich filter doesn’t overly brighten or color up the image. It just does only enough to make the photos / images lively.
